While running the largest asbestos consultancy in New Zealand from 2012 to 2022, we frequently traveled between New Zealand and our home in Naples, Florida. The challenge of boarding our beloved cats during those years highlighted a gap in luxury cattery services.

Luxury Boarding – FAQs & Terms

  • Each suite is designed for privacy, safety, and comfort. From plush bedding to serene views of our wooded property, every detail is tailored to make your cat feel cherished and secure.

  • Our Cat Cave is a dedicated play and bonding area where cats receive pampering, brushing, and enrichment time. It’s perfect for extra affection and personalized care during their stay.

  • Add-on services include brushing sessions, extended playtime, catnip enrichment, tuck-in cuddles, safe medication administration, Biofeedback and Salmon Sunday (well, salmon every day). Every option is designed to make your cat feel adored.

  • For your convenience, we offer pick-up and drop-off services. From doorstep to retreat, your cat is chauffeured with care and attention, ensuring a stress-free transition.

  • Minimum stay is 3 days year-round. Holiday periods (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s) include adjusted pricing and non-refundable deposits to secure bookings.

  • At Lionheart Estates, the safety and health of your cat are our top priorities. To ensure a healthy and safe environment for all pets, we require:

    • Proof of FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations.

    • Cats must be flea-free and up-to-date on health check-ups.

    • Cats over 6 months old must be spayed or neutered.

    • A snap test for FIV and FeLV is required for outdoor cats.

  • For your convenience, we offer flexible drop-off and pick-up hours. Our standard hours are:

    • Monday–Friday: Check-in: 2:00 PM–4:00 PM; Check-out: 9:00 AM–11:00 AM

    • Saturday: Check-in: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM

    • By appointment: Early or late arrivals can be arranged with an additional fee.

    • Non-Holiday bookings: Cancellations must be made at least 4 days in advance for a full refund.

    • Holiday bookings: Cancellations must be made at least 10 days prior. Non-refundable deposits are required to secure holiday bookings.

    • Discounts available for military families and first responders.

  • We also offer discounts for military and first responder families.
